Autumn is associated with saffron flower harvesting in Kashmir.
The ideal mix of climate conditions and altitude make for
an expanse of violet this time of the year. Some call it
an ethereal sight. And rightly so.
The flowering season although short but truly a magical
experience starts by the end of October and is over by the
first week of November.
